About The Role

The role can be based in one of our UK offices or can be a remote position but you must be able to travel to our UK offices as required for meetings, interviews, assessment days as well as to attend careers fairs.

We are looking for a motivated Resourcer/Recruiter to join our in-house Resourcing Team.

The Richter Group is leading design engineering consultancy operating out of 12 strategically located UK offices. Our specialist team of engineers and technicians provide engineering design services in temporary works and construction methodologies to Major Building and Civil Engineering Contractors.

Our in-house resourcing team are responsible for managing the full life-cycle recruitment process for a variety of roles in a timely manner from briefing to attraction/sourcing, selection to onboarding. We are passionate about providing high quality candidate and hiring manager experience, ensuring our recruitment process is fair and inclusive.

As Group Resourcer you will be responsible for the recruitment of our Early Careers vacancies. This role would suit an agency recruiter looking to move in-house or someone with previous internal experience. Early careers/graduate recruitment experience would be advantageous but is not essential.  

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the recruitment and selection processes for early careers pipelines, including reviewing applications, initial screening interviews, providing hiring managers with a shortlist of candidates, coordinating interview arrangements, interview feedback and offer management.
  • Proactively manage application volumes by ensuring roles are advertised and direct sourcing as required.
  • Manage candidates through the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring data held in the system is accurate and up to date.
  • Act as a recruitment ambassador, positively contributing to the reputation of the team and to the business as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure the best use of social media to attract talent to the business and increase awareness of our brand.
  • Manage and develop relationships with careers services at partner universities.
  • Creation and delivery of careers events with universities and colleges.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

Essential:

  • A minimum of 2 years recruitment experience either in agency, RPO or in-house.
  • Previous experience of sourcing candidates from CV databases, LinkedIn, and social media sites.
  • Good level of computer literacy including MS Office.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Good verbal and written English.
  • The ability to organise your own work and time management.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive and pro-active team player who demonstrates a willingness to apply themselves in a workplace environment.
  • A self-starter who displays a ‘can do’ attitude towards tasks and is willing to learn.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and good working relationships with key stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in resourcing within a Construction/Engineering environment.
  • Educated to degree level
  • Previous experience using ATS systems.
